He musta been lacking in the driving ability dept.  Joe ran his green
inectored 84 with a worse than stock exhaust, and the only mods being a
K&N and skinnies and mccrearies to a 14.30.

Thats why I htink he didn't know how to drive.. Those 60' times stink.
That mph is high.

Yep...I wouldn't be suprised if porting his intake hurt him, but the
other mods evened it out.  Then learning how to drive got his ET where it
should.  Cory, can you share your experiances on opening up the intake?

Well, powershifting does wonders for ET, especially turbo cars.

Welp, when I saw him in the 96 seaason, he had the 3 liter, full on DFI,
and he only picked up 6 tenths in 4 years apparently..
