I'd probably use stainless pipes. And it needs to be mounted either in
front of the radiator OR facing down behind and slightly below the radiator
with a scoop to pick up air flowing under the car.
Anyone ever heard of Kinsler fuel injection? This company sells
aluminum and stainless steel bends and rubber hoses specifically for
intercooler plumbing. Not sure of pricing, but hey, might as well spend the
extra few bucks to get application designed parts, right? Don't know their
phone #, but they used to advertise in Hot Rod and other mags. Check them out.
